So I was embarrassingly falling behind attendance for my Medieval History class last semester and after talking to the professor, she agreed on granting me two credit points if I attended The Metropolitan Museum of Art before finals week.
Well, you see that really wasn't a bad deal at all!
I've been to the city a couple of times, have only had the time to explore MoMA and pensively stare at Gogh's Starry Night, however, the MET is a huge huuuuge place and visiting it would mean clearing an entire day of your visit to the city from anything else but the MET. Yes.
I had snapped a decent number of pictures so I've picked a few pretty ones to highlight what was up at the Met™!

First things first, this one above was my favourite new discovery. I had this as my wallpaper for weeks, the colors really made my brain go wow.
There was this Egyptian History section that had stuff from about 3500-4000 years (that would mean around 1500-2000BC) ago. That's pretty old, they could probably be some of the oldest man-made things I've ever come across in person.

Then there was section devoted to stuff from the European parts.

Then some war stuff. The metals and the craftsmanship shown through these exhibits were really impressive.
